After months of anticipation, GMC has finally unveiled the next generation of the Yukon SUV lineup. Debuting as the 2021 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, these full-size utility vehicles boast a wide array of new technologies and fresh design features.
For starters, GMC has totally redesigned the interior of the Yukon model, including an optional, class-leading power sliding center console. Behind the wheel, drivers will have access to a class-leading, available 15-inch-diagonal multicolor Head-Up Display, as well as up to nine camera views (more than any SUV in the segment) for increased driver awareness. These camera views include the ProGrade trailering system, the Rear Camera Mirror, and HD Surround Vision.
For performance, GMC has added an available first-in-class Air Ride Adaptive Suspension. When 4WD LO is selected, this system can add 2 additional inches of ground clearance. The 2021 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL Denali models benefit from a new 6.2-liter V8 engine with Dynamic Fuel Management that cranks out 420 horsepower.
“GMC Yukon is the full-size premium SUV that’s made to be used,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Global Buick and GMC. “The new Yukon delivers what customers value most — premium features, purposeful technology and all-terrain capability.”
You don’t have long to wait for the 2021 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL. These full-size SUVs will arrive at Freehold Buick GMC this summer.
