In J.D. Power’s 2014 Vehicle Dependability Study, vehicles from model year 2011 were tested by analyzing the number of problems reported over the past three years. The end result? Buick was named fifth most dependable brand in the automotive world.
This year, the 2011 Buick Lucerne celebrated its fourth year in a row as the most reliable auto in the large car segment. The 2011 LaCrosse won second place for mid-size cars.
“Buick customers today cite their top reasons for purchase as overall quality, exterior style, and value,” said Tony DiSalle, Buick’s vice president of marketing. “As the brand continues to expand with new models and create new segments with vehicles like the Encore, retaining a focus on quality is at the core of every model we bring to market.”
