Every year, automotive brands from all over the world bring their A-game to the Chicago Auto Show. GMC showed up this year with an all-new reveal: the 2020 GMC Sierra HD.
At its core, the 2020 Sierra HD is a rowdy, roaring beast. Its standard 6.6-liter V8 snarls with 401 horsepower and 464 lb-ft of torque. Its counterpart, the 6.6-liter Duramax Diesel V8, puts an emphasis on hauling. The Diesel produces 445 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque with a maximum towing capacity of 35,500 pounds.
The 2020 Sierra HD can seat up to five passengers comfortably, making it a versatile vehicle beyond words. You can take the whole family on an adventure, on or off the beaten path, while towing everything you need behind you.
In addition to the 2020 Sierra HD’s debut, GMC had several 2019 models on display:
- 2019 GMC Acadia
- 2019 GMC Canyon
- 2019 GMC Sierra 1500
- 2019 GMC Sierra HD
- 2019 GMC Terrain
- 2019 GMC Yukon
The brand also brought a concept car to the show: the All Terrain X. The concept included snowmobile-style mountain wheels and snow gear strapped to the back to match.
