The 2016 GMC Sierra enjoyed some revisions and improvements for the 2016 model year. Most noticeable on the cosmetic side is a newly-designed front end. The Sierra received a much more prominent and dominant grille as well as a new bumper that thins out in the middle and widens the sides. The result is a more distinctive and muscular front end.
GMC didn’t stop there with the exterior styling. They also added LED daytime running lights, LED headlights, LED fog lights, and LED taillights. These lighting improvements lend an attractive, modern look to the truck.
The 2016 GMC Sierra refresh also means enhancements in the technology area, accommodating users from both sides of the fence. The Sierra will be Apple CarPlay capable. The pickup will also be “first GMC model to get Google’s Android Auto competitor,” according to Digital Trends.
As always, the GMC Sierra will come available in the upper-class Denali trim, which also got some enhancements this time around.
