The fall concert series is still going strong in downtown Freehold. This weekly concert series, hosted in association with OceanFirst Bank, will continue until October 15th, so you still have time to catch a free show or two before the winter chill sets in. The concerts occur every Wednesday evening at 7 PM at the Monmouth County Hall of Records on Main Street, and parking, like the show, is free.
The last two acts of the series are After the Rein and Bobby and the Jets.
After the Reign is an American country band that’s been making a name for itself as an opening act around the United States. The band originated in New Jersey and has been around since 2006. They’ve opened for a number of famous country singers and bands, like Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum.
Bobby and the Jets is an Elton John tribute band fronted by Bobby Lynch, who plays the part of Sir Elton John himself. Lynch even has his own custom built 9-ft white grand piano that brings an extra flair to his act. They promote themselves as the ‘#1 Elton John tribute band in America’.
We at Freehold Buick GMC are sad to see the season of music filling the downtown borough come to an end, but it’s been a blast and we can’t wait to see what bands next year brings!
