General Motors announced details about the 2014 Buick LaCrosse today, including the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) that has been set at $34,060. The new LaCrosse will arrive later this year with fresh styling, more luxury features, and new technology.
“LaCrosse is Buick’s flagship sedan,” said Tony DiSalle, vice president of Buick Marketing. “The 2014 model’s beautiful design, intuitive technology and exclusive interior materials show the best of a luxury brand that has grown sales for three straight years.”
Two powertrains are available on the 2014 LaCrosse – a 2.4-liter engine with eAssist light electrification technology or a 3.6-liter direct-injected V6 engine. Both come with a six-speed automatic transmission. Highway fuel economy on the 2.4-liter engine is estimated at 36 mpg. Fuel economy on the V6 is estimated at 18 city/28 highway mpg for front-wheel drive models and 17 city/26 highway mpg on all-wheel drive models.
Standard equipment on the 2013 Buick LaCrosse includes IntelliLink, eight air bags, and an eight-inch reconfigurable color cluster display. Every new 2014 Buick will offer the Active Safety Suite, which includes Forward Collision Alert, Lane Change Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Side Blind Zone Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
Every 2014 LaCrosse will also come standard with two year or 24,000 miles of regular maintenance and five year of OnStar services. The maintenance package includes oil and filter changes, multi-point inspections, and tire rotations.
