The New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) kicked off this week and GMC already received three awards from some very well known automotive experts. They were recognized by AutoTrader.com, KBB.com, and Edmunds.com. (Talk about some fabulous company).
First, the 2015 GMC Canyon captured one of AutoTrader.com’s 2014 Must Test Drive Vehicles Award. Although it is not on sale yet (coming this fall), the addition of the 2015 Canyon is highly anticipated! In a press release site editor of AutoTrader.com, Brian Moody, said, “GMC’s new midsize Canyon challenges the notion that only full-size pickups can handle serious work. With a towing capacity of just under 7,000 lbs, the Canon gets the job done.”
GMC also claimed the 2014 Kelley Blue Book Brand Image Award for Most Refined Brand. It’s no secret that GMC carries a name that exemplifies the highest excellence. The full line of polished vehicles like the Terrain, Acadia, Sierra, and Yukon are a testament to the brand’s supremacy.
Finally, the 2014 GMC Acadia was chosen as a 2014 Most Popular by Edmunds.com. The Acadia was given a makeover for the 2013 model year and it has most certainly paid off. The critics at Edmunds loved the Acadia’s versatility making the comment that it was “a vehicular jack-of-all-trades.”
