2015 GMC Canyon revealed at NAIAS in Detroit

The 2015 GMC Canyon kicked off the 2014 North American International Auto Show in style.

In a press release, Tony DiSalle, vice president of GMC Marketing, said, “The all-new 2015 Canyon completes GMC’s three-truck family, which started with the redesigned 2014 Sierra 1500 and 2015 Sierra HD. It rounds out a lineup that offers the broadest range of capabilities in the industry, giving truck customers more choices to find the vehicle that meets their professional, personal and lifestyle needs.”

The new Canyon will go on sale this year and is more than ready to compete in the midsize truck segment.  It will offer segment leading horsepower (193 horsepower from a 2.5L I-4 and 302 horsepower from a 3.6L V-6*), payload (at least 1,450 pounds), and trailer rating (at least 6,700 pounds when properly equipped).

The 2015 GMC Canyon will also come equipped with OnStar, built-in Wi-Fi hotspot offering 4G LTE connectivity, standard rear-vision camera, and (a first ever midsize truck segment) driver alert features like lane departure warning and forward collision alert.

We here at Freehold Buick GMC are more than excited for the arrival of the 2015 Canyon later this spring!
